UPCOMING Events
The Longleaf Trace is host to dozens of walking, running, and cycling events every year. Whether a long-standing tradition or innovative new event, thousands of people experience the Trace each year, drawn in by the chance to challenge themselves, have fun with friends, or support their favorite charity.
When participating in an event on the Longleaf Trace, attendees enjoy a unique and safe experience on a gentle, paved course with no vehicle traffic.
No events are allowed at this time from the Hattiesburg Gateway to Sumrall locations due to the upcoming paving project.
Events can be hosted at the Prentiss, Bassfield, and Hattiesburg Gateway to downtown locations. If you are interested in hosting an event at one of the these locations please call the

To book an event on or at any portion of the Longleaf Trace, please contact the Longleaf Trace administrative offices at 601-450-5247 or email longleaftraceuser@gmail.com to check availability at least 4 weeks prior to your event. All events must be approved by the Longleaf Trace administrative office and are required to have an event permit.
